Park Information
The King William County Recreational Park, located at 11615 King William Road, offers you two lighted basketball courts, a playground sandlot, a community center, concession and restroom facilities, one 200-foot softball/baseball field, one multipurpose field, two 300-foot softball/baseball fields and three T-ball fields. Two parking areas are available for your convenience. A pay phone is also located in the park. |

The Community Room, which can be rented for meetings, is a large, carpeted room with ceiling fans, tables and chairs. The equipment that is located inside the room may not be removed, but it can be carefully moved to the side during an event. Restrooms are also located in the Community Room.
The Concession Facility is operated on a yearly contractual basis. Proposals are accepted during the month of February.
All reservations for the Recreational Park are made through the King William County Parks & Recreation Department. The Department will be glad to answer any questions you may have, check available dates, and arrange for a rental agreement if you desire.
In addition to the rental fee, a deposit is required to reserve the facility. The deposit is fully refundable when keys are returned and the staff has confirmed that the facility has been left clean and in good condition.

Program Policies
Registration & payment are required by the deadlines stated for all programs. If payment is not received by the deadline, participants are considered not registered.
How to register - In person at the Recreation Office or by mail (call and we will mail you a registration form), or you can print one by clicking here.
Checks - Make checks payable to King William County unless otherwise noted.
Class sizes are limited. Therefore, all programs are open to all on a first come- first served basis.
Locations of programs are subject to change. The Recreation Department uses school facilities and must move or cancel programs when facilities are not available.
Cancellations - If a program does not meet the required minimum enrollment or if a facility is unavailable, a program my be canceled. When a cancellation occurs, participants will be notified and any fees paid will be refunded.
Weather - When County schools are closed due to inclement weather, all Recreation Department programs and athletic leagues are canceled. King William County Recreational Park will close as necessary during inclement weather.
Activity Cancellation & Field Report Line - In the event of inclement weather and possible activity cancellation, participants may call 769-3011, ext. 4281 after 3 p.m. weekdays and after 8 a.m. weekends for information.

Recreation Commission
The King William County Recreation Commission is composed of nine members representing the county's election districts, school systems and Board of Supervisors with one at-large member. Commission meetings are held bimonthly and citizens are encouraged to attend. To be placed on the agenda, please notify the Parks & Recreation Department.
