Public Information Department
The public information office is responsible for managing the county's media relations, maintaining the county website and planning special events.
Community Companion
Due to budget reductions, the county's quarterly news letter, The Community Companion, is not currently being published.
e-Informer
The E-Informer is a monthly newsletter sent out via email. The E-Informer was formerly delivered every Friday. However, due to budget reductions, the E-Informer is not currently distributed. We hope to begin issuing the E-Informer again in the near future, although on a smaller scale. The E-Informer typically includes information such as Board of Supervisors agendas, taxes and budgets, emergency services, employment opportunities, library activities and holiday office schedules, among other pertinent information. This service is free and is provided by the King William County Public Information Department. To subscribe to the E-Informer send an email to einformer@kingwilliamcounty.us with the word subscribe in the subject line.
