Upcoming Virtual Programs at Pamunkey Regional Library

All branches of the Pamunkey Regional Library will be closed on Friday, Jan.1.

Virtual Programs on Zoom

Introducing Native Plants to Your Garden

Saturday, Jan. 9, 11:00 a.m. - noon

We'll take a look at plants native to this area that can easily be incorporated into ornamental gardens.  Presented by Pat Lust, Master Gardener, Goochland Powhatan Master Gardener Association.   Registration is required at https://pamunkeylibrary.libcal.com/event/7333961. This virtual program is hosted through Zoom and the meeting link will be sent to the email registered 1 day before the event occurs.

Atlee Virtual Book Club

Wednesday, Jan. 13, 11:00 a.m. - noon

Join us to discuss "Map of the Heart" by Susan Wiggs. Stop by your local branch library to pick up a copy or place one on hold or download it from hoopla as an ebook or audiobook. Kids' Lego Club

National Seed Swap Day

Saturday Jan. 30

The Library and the Hanover Master Gardeners Association are partnering for National Seed Swap Day 2021!

Please register at https://pamunkeylibrary.libcal.com/event/7342532 to reserve your Seed Swap Day kit, to be picked up on Jan. 30 at the Mechanicsville Branch Library.

Kits include a Capital Region Native Plant Guide, a catalog from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, Virginia Cooperative Extension publications on seeds and germination, a resource list of websites for information and supplies, and at least 3 packets of seeds per kit (vegetable and flower).
